Abraham Owl was born on March 1, 1953, and entered his eternal rest on July 12, 2026.
A lifelong resident of the Stilwell area, Abraham built a life rooted in family, tradition, and the simple joys of the outdoors. On November 16, 1974, he married the love of his life, Polly Owl. Together they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Abraham was an outdoorsman at heart. He loved fishing and enjoyed hunting deer, rabbits, squirrels, and just about anything that was in season. Some of his favorite memories were made at the racetrack alongside Samuel and Melvin, and he always looked forward to trips to the casino with Polly and his mother.
Family was the center of Abraham's life. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was a devoted supporter of his children and grandchildren, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer them on at baseball, softball, and football games.
Monday nights were reserved for one thing: WCW Monday Nitro. Watching wrestling wasn't just entertainment to Abraham; it was an appointment he never missed. Those who knew him smiled knowing that Monday evenings belonged to wrestling.
Abraham will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love for the outdoors, his unwavering devotion to his family, and the many memories he created with those he loved.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Polly Owl, of the home; two sons, Samuel Owl of Stilwell and Christopher Wayne Owl of the home; four grandchildren, Garion Doyle Owl, Tyra Davis and husband Tyler Davis, Abryanna Owl and partner Gavin Eaton, and Castin Owl; one brother, Levi Owl; two sisters, Retha Owl and Melanie Owl; one special niece, Riva Studie; six additional nieces; four nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by a baby born sleeping; his parents, Daylight and Ora Owl; and one sister, Katie Owl.
Though Abraham has left this earthly life, the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the memories he gave to his family will remain in their hearts forever.
