David Callahan a beloved patriarch and cherished member of the Bartlesville community, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on August 24, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, David's journey was marked by love, devotion, and an unwavering commitment to family.

David enjoyed a fulfilling career with the United States Postal Service before embarking on a well-deserved retirement. He was not only a dedicated worker but also a man whose wisdom and gentle spirit positively impacted the lives of many around him. Known for his kindness and generosity, he took immense joy in sharing the love of Christ with everyone he encountered, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate to know him.

A proud husband, David spent 40 wonderful years married to the love of his life, Lenora Callahan. They exchanged vows on February 22, 1985, and their union was a testament to enduring love, support, and shared faith. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising two sons, Mitchell and Andrew, who now carry forward their father's legacy of love and devotion, along with their wives, Ashleigh and Jessica.

David's greatest pride and joy were his five grandchildren: Griffin, Parker, Bennett, Harper, and Liam Callahan. His grandbabies were the light of his life, and he reveled in every moment spent with them, imparting his wisdom and sharing in their smiles.

Beyond his family, David had a multitude of interests and hobbies that showcased his versatility. He was an avid fan of OU Football, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Texas Rangers, often finding camaraderie with friends and family over the game. His green thumb and passion for gardening allowed him to nurture both plants and those around him, while his skills as a handyman made him the go-to person for all kinds of repairs and tasks, endearing him to everyone in need of a helping hand.

David was a devoted member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Bartlesville, where he contributed to the communal spirit with his warmth and faith. His ability to connect with others through his wisdom and kindness solidified his role as a stable presence within his family and community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Elwood Callahan and Katherine Mae Callahan, and his brother, Burt Callahan.
