Emmett Ross

Emmett Ross was born May 22, 1945, in Stilwell Oklahoma, and departed this life on September 26, 2023, at home.

Emmett was a very hard-working man. He built chicken houses and also raised chickens for many years on his farm in Stilwell until he retired.  He was a member of the Church of Christ in  Stilwell.

He was preceded in death by his wife  Jerrie Annette (Welchel) Ross; Kevin Dean Ross, grandson Brandon Kyle Ross, his parents Tom Ross and Nettie (Caton) Ross, Brothers Rufus Ross, James Ross, Jess Ross, and Bill Ross, his sisters Rosia Holland, Martha Roberts and Juanita Griggs.

He is survived by a loving family which includes son Stephen  Ross and wife Pamela of Stilwell, grandchildren Nathan Thomas and wife Zaneta of Stilwell, Brittany Drywater and husband Cody of Stilwell, Tyler Ross and wife Anesa Stillwell, Drake Ross and wife Dev of Stilwell, Kevin Dean Ross Jr of Stilwell, and Kelsey Simmons and husband Anthony of Stilwell, 16 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild, Brothers Albert Ross and wife Janet of Tahlequah Charles Ross and wife Peggy of Stilwell, sister Katheryn Martin of Coweta and many nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.
