Frances Knight

Frances Mae Knight, daughter of Charles Willis and Cora Anderson Longshore, was born on October 7, 1932 in Batesville, Arkansas and departed this life on Monday, January 28, 2013 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 21 days. Frances was a warm and giving person. She is remembered fondly by family and friends as outgoing and friendly. She loved visiting and her laugh was contagious. In her younger days, Frances made family quilts and doll clothes that will be cherished for years to come. She will be deeply missed. Preceding her in death were her parents: Charles and Cora Longshore, sisters: Corrina Sintella, Annie Clucas, Dorothy Galloway, Gloria Coker, brothers: Charlie Longshore, Monroe Longshore. She is survived by Frances Longshore, Charles Longshore, Jr., James Longshore, Thomas Longshore, Nancy Walunga, Willis Walunga, Alberta Unok, nieces nephews: Jim Galloway, Ronnie Galloway, Paula Bean, Pam Longshore, Kim Stahnke. Frances is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Funeral services at 1 pm on Friday, February 1, 2013 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Bro. Gil Hooper officiating. Interment followed at Marble City Cemetery, Marble City, Oklahoma.
