Lonnie Chumley, Jr.

Lonnie Chumley Jr., son of Lonnie and Nelda Whitehurst Chumley, was born January 27, 1983 in Galveston, Texas and passed from this life on August 23, 2009 in Springdale, Arkansas at the young age of 26 years, 6 months and 27 days. Lonnie loved life, family and friends. He especially enjoyed any and all time spent with his wife and children. Lonnie was preceded in death by his mother: Nelda Chumley, and his grandparents: Betty and Troy Whitehurst, Willie and Clementine Chumley. Lonnie is survived by his wife: Vanessa Hall of the home in Stilwell, his children: Brittany Chumley, Michael Chumley and Ashley Chumley, 2 brothers: Lucas Chumley and wife Caroline of Stilwell, Randy Straight of Stilwell, 4 nieces: Isabella Chumley, Trinity Chumley, Jocelyn Chumley and Freedom Rain, 3 nephews: Christopher Chumley, Charlie Whisenhunt and Alex Whisenhunt, his father: Lonnie Chumley of Stilwell, OK, 3 sisters-in-law: Jamie Hogner, Amy Hogner and Amber Hall, his mother-in-law: Georgie Hogner of Stilwell, his best friend: Charles Whisenhunt, many other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2009 at Pumpkin Hollow Cemetery in Briggs, OK. with Bro. Larry Eubanks officiating. Interment followed under the direction of RobertsReed-Culver Funeral Home.
