With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Minnie B. Convirs, age 83, who left this world on January 25, 2026, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Born on May 17, 1942, Minnie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, known for her warm spirit and unwavering devotion to her family.
Minnie is survived by her cherished daughter, Lisa Ellen Convirs of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and her son, Christopher Raymond Convirs of Stilwell, Oklahoma. She was a proud grandmother to Daniel Christopher Convirs, Charity Delane Convirs, Hope Elane Convirs, and Joshua Cain Convirs, and a loving great-grandmother to Grayson, Ezra, Scarlett, Jessie, and Ember Convirs. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Minnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Loy Dean Convirs, and her parents, William and Barbara Harris. She was also preceded in death by five siblings: Margaret Ann Phipps, Raymond Edward Harris, Wanda Louise Moorehead, Shirley June Latta, and William Thomas Harris.
She is survived by nine siblings: Oleta Mae Lyons; Ruth Ellen Carlson, her twin sister; Marjorie Laverne Caughman Fox; Richard Mack Harris; James Frederick Harris; Loyd Eldon Harris; Corinna Leah Vanderheiden; Colleen Marie Brown; and William (Buddy) Edward Harris, along with more than 290 nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember their aunt with love and fondness.
A compassionate and creative soul, Minnie found great joy in arts and crafts and excelled as a bookkeeper with a remarkable gift for mathematics. Above all else, her family was her everything. She loved to sing, and her laughter and love brightened the lives of all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
Though Minnie has left this world, her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, family, and devotion will forever remain.
