Sharon Thomaston

Sharon Faye Thomaston went to meet her Maker on October 6, 2025, at 12:06 a.m. She has gone to a better place to be reunited with loved ones who passed before her. Sharon will be laid to rest beside her beloved son, Gregory Waits Sr.

She leaves behind five sons and one daughter: Clifford Skelton, Bill Skelton, Brian Waits, Joshua Waits, and Barbara Williams; step-sons Harold Williams and Anthony Williams; her sister Mary Burrows; and her brother Paul Skelton. Sharon was a cherished grandmother to Aaron, Colton, Autumn, and Deven Williams; Gregory, Brittany, and Amber Waits; Bramana Waits; and Allen, Ashley, Patrick, and Michelle Waits; and Kevin, Kellie, Kyle, Dakota, Annastasha and Piper Williams. She also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family who will miss her deeply.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Piney Cemetery. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Roberts and Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell.
